On Tuesday, June 19 Elmont School District residents approved the proposed 2012-2013 school budget 2249 - YES to 1352 - NO. The budget vote was approved by 62.55%.
With this vote, the Elmont community came out to vote for the children and send a clear message to Albany:
We should not be putting a cap to our future! The future generation. |

The Elmont School District would like to inform the general public that registered voters may vote on Tuesday, June 19th at their designated polling place between the hours of 6:00am to 9:00pm:
Alden Terrace School - 1835 Central Ave. N. Valley Stream.
Clara H. Carlson School - 235 Belmont Blvd. Elmont.
Covert Avenue School - 144 Covert Avenue. Elmont.
Dutch Broadway School - 1880 Dutch Broadway. Elmont.
Elmont Rd. Administration Building - 135 Elmont Road. Elmont.
Gotham Avenue School - 181 Gotham Avenue. Elmont.

To participate in the annual budget vote, you must be registered to vote. Qualified residents may go to their deignated school and register any school
day during school hours until May 8th, 2012. Evening voter registration will be held on Tuesday, May 8th, from 4:00pm -9:00pm at the Elmont Road Administration Building ONLY.
